Intandem is a London based international film group, formed in November 2003.
The Intandem team has over fifteen years experience in film finance and worldwide sales.

Strategy

Our strategy is aimed at building a slate of films at the rate of at least 6 films per annum with an average budget of $25m and a range of $10m-$60m. The target is to achieve completion of at least $250m of films each year, which would make us one of the leading independent suppliers of films in the world.

Our team has a strong network of international film industry contacts which enables us to:
Access films of a high standard from experienced producers
Assemble effective funding and put them into production.
Implement strong creative marketing campaigns.
Sell the films to the top distributors including Studios.

Theatrical Films

In the current market, it is important for films to have a theatrical release. Intandem achieves this by focussing on:
Commercial genres; comedy, thriller, action.
A strong cast of leading actors.
Production budgets which allow the film-maker to deliver a "theatrical film".

Core Business

  1. Executive Production

    • Acquire films with strong commercial prospects from script stage. The two main sources of material are producers in Los Angeles and London.

    • Structure the financing for the film in the most efficient way possible. The financing typically includes tax credits, pre-sales, equity and debt.
    • Professional marketing campaigns prepared and implemented for each film.
    • Work on all aspects of the creation of the film including script notes and recommendations for directors and principal cast.
    • Intandem maintains a comprehensive database of all film financiers.
    • Intandem charges a fee for its professional executive production services.

  2. International Sales
    • Prepare sales estimates based on expected minimum guarantees for distributors.
    • Sell films to international distributors.
    • Exhibit at all the major film markets in the world including Cannes, Los Angeles and Berlin.
    • Maintain close relationships with major distributors throughout the world through regular territory visits.
    • Intandem earns commission on all sales generated.

Los Angeles Presence

Intandem has excellent relationships with producers, financiers, agents and studios in Los Angeles, the centre of the film industry. Intandem personnel visit Los Angeles at least ten times per annum to maintain the quality of relationships.
In addition, through its strategic relationship with Radical Publishing, Intandem has access to its offices in Beverly Hills.
