About Executive Production

We proactively seek out and acquire projects with strong commercial prospects from script stage. We recognise that to obtain commercially exploitable properties, it is important to understand the differing tastes in various territories.
Our team are very experienced in all aspects of film finance and physical production and have a range of industry contacts to ensure that we can access films of a high standard, assemble funding and put them into production. We usually acquire all International and UK distribution rights for our projects to maximise our potential revenue.

Once the script is acquired, a full role is taken in the development of the project: from financing, assigning key members of cast and crew, to working closely with the script writer, producer and director to bring the script to its best possible state, and overseeing the physical shooting of the film through to the extensive editing process including the choice of music.

Executive Producers

Intandem Films will act as an Executive Producer for its services in development and financing (including providing sales estimates). We charge an Executive Producer fee between 1% and 3% of the budget. As Executive Producers, Intandem Films arranges finance of films utilising a wide range of available financing tools.

We have strong relationships with a cross-section of film financiers including entities such as The UK Film Council, bank financiers and private investors, which together can offer substantial contribution towards a film’s budget. As a sales company, we are able to attract pre-sales on appropriate film projects, which assist in the financing of production.

Since its inception, Intandem Films has helped arrange financing for three finished films. Return To Sender and Stoned were funded through Audley Films LLP, a film partnership which Intandem helped to establish in January 2004 on behalf of an investor. Intandem helped secure financing for Irresistible through UK tax fund Baker Street and The Film Finance Corporation of Australia (FFC).

Intandem is currently negotiating a slate of over $150m and plans to secure part of the financing for these films through various funds and financiers in their ever-expanding network.
