Synopsis
When Terry Allen, an all-American accountant gets fired from his job, he develops an obsession with CNN and the war on terrorism in the post-9/11 world. However, his world is about to get a lot smaller, when an unattached Islamic student moves in next door that Terry believes is acting suspiciously. When nobody listens to Terry's accusations, he decides to take the law into his own hands to find out the truth about his new neighbour. A contained psychological thriller in the tradition of Rear Window with a timely twist, CIVIC DUTY pulls us into one man's spiral into paranoia and obsession fueled by today's media.
