New Finance Director Appointment [ 02/08/2007 ]The Board of Intandem Films now consider it an appropriate time to appoint a full time Finance Director following the Company’s recent developments which include: •successfully completing the U$27 million production financing for the largest independent film currently in production in the UK, How to Lose Friends and Alienate People • acquiring 5% investment in Radical Publishing Inc., the US comic book and graphic novel company, and • the Company’s subsequent appointment as international sales agent and executive producer for both Radical Publishing Inc. and its sister movie production business Blatant Pictures. Therefore, Alastair Kennedy who joined Intandem Films in June 2005 as Finance Director on a part-time basis has stepped down from the Board with immediate effect. However, he will remain available to the business to ensure a smooth handover including the completion of the Audit for the year ended 30 June 2007. The Company is therefore pleased to announce the appointment of Serena Wilson as Finance Director. Serena has held a number of Chief Financial Officer, Financial Control and Company Secretarial roles. She joins Intandem Films from Clearbrook Capital Partners LLP where she held the position of Financial Controller and Compliance Officer. Prior to this, she was Vice President of Finance at Financial Risk Management. Serena Margaret Burton Wilson, aged 34, obtained a BSc. in Psychology at Manchester University and then qualified as a Chartered Accountant while working in the Audit and Advisory practice with Ernst & Young, London. Commenting on the changes, Gary Smith, Chairman and Chief Executive, Intandem Films said: “We are extremely pleased Serena has joined Intandem. Her commercial and financial skills mixed with the experience gained from within senior positions at investment organisations will be invaluable to us as we continue to develop our film financing team.” “Also on behalf of everyone at Intandem, I would like to thank Alastair for the contribution he has made over the last few years and wish him well for the future.” Serena Wilson, Finance Director, Intandem Films, added: “I am delighted to become part of the dynamic and energetic team at Intandem at this exciting time. I am looking forward to a challenging and varied role and to contributing to the success of this business.” There are no other matters which are required to be announced with regards to the appointment of Serena Wilson under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
