Intandem Secures UK distribution for Stoned [ 12/08/2005 ]

Intandem, will distribute Stoned in the UK and Ireland in partnership with Vertigo Films. The theatrical release will be in mid- November with a DVD release set for Spring 2006.

Top PR company Freud Communications is looking after all press and publicity associated with the release of the film whilst leading marketing company, Creative Partnership is producing the trailer which will go out in cinemas from September.

Gary Smith CEO of Intandem says “We are delighted to be linking up with Vertigo Films for the UK release of Stoned. They share our marketing vision and have done a great job with their recent genre specific film Football Factory (which on DVD alone has sold over 500,000 units) and their latest release The Business which went straight in at number 5 in the UK Box Office. We are really looking forward to the release and believe that since Brian Jones was an original rock ‘n roll rebel who died at the age of 27, the film will appeal to young people as well as the audience who were around in the 60s.”

Stoned, which was well received at its World Premiere in Edinburgh last month will also be travelling to Toronto for its North American premiere, San Sebastian, Dinard and has been invited to several other prestigious festivals including Rio de Janeiro, Chicago and Stockholm.
